Echo Weaver – MetroBRAINia Reveal
Earlier this month we revealed that we have partnered up with Moonlight Kids to publish Echo Weaver!
The moment I beat the demo, I knew that Echo Weaver was something special which many people from the team, including me, were really excited for! Every cycle is a new chance to learn hidden abilities, uncover more about yourself and the environment, and explore the broken-down, overrun station. Every time we figured out how to progress to the next area or to the next lore drop, I was gripping the edge of my seat. Everyone at Akupara really connected with that aspect of the game and we’re glad to support the developers in Echo Weaver.
Echo Weaver is a time loop metroidBRAINia where time is your currency and secrets are your only upgrades. You are the last Weaver, remnant of a ruined society trapped in a fatal time loop. Uncover their story – and your own – as you explore what remains. The first door closes in ten seconds, you have no time to stand around; Get going!

REPOSE – A Tense and Surreal Horror
Announced just a few days ago, we partnered with Bozó Attila Bertold to publish Repose!
Repose is a tense and surreal horror game where each step, shot and mistake costs precious energy, rendered entirely in black and white.
Playing an early build of Repose was very eerie and nothing was more rewarding than figuring out how to progress to the next level down. Learning about the environment and the…. wonderful [company!] Yep! They always care about you and your well-being. They definitely don’t have an issue of people dying on the job…

Gigasword – More Boss Battles
We revealed that we are publishing GIGASWORD back in October, which is being developed by a single developer, Jack Breen! Solo developing a game is a ton of work and very impressive! I’m glad we are able to support Jack in their development of GIGASWORD.
I talked with Jack about what he has been working on for this month!
I’ve been working on some of the last few bosses for GigaSword. I can’t show much due to spoilers, but here’s a quick look at Krail, a demon-werewolf from Hell. There was some brief footage of him shown earlier, but he’s finished now, and his boss fight is fully playable. He harnesses the power of lightning and can move incredibly fast. He’s easily become one of my favorite fights in the game!

Airframe Ultra | Community Closed Beta
In January, we hosted the first ever closed beta for Airframe Ultra and I was shocked by the amount of people and feedback we received from the community. While I was predicting somewhere around 500 to 700, we actually got over 1,800 people who joined the beta.
The community had a blast going through the tracks and knocking each other’s heads in with pipes, burning them up with molotov, and racing to get the most points! Most surprisingly were folks who actually got together and hung out in the sandbox warehouse map. It’s so neat and wholesome to see that the community could get together and just relax in the game about violence and racing.
The team is already hard at work after the closed beta absorbing and implementing the feedback and reviewing the different bugs reported from the community play testing. From crashing when rolling the airframe to some controller issues, we’re investigating these reports to resolve them. These issues may not have been discovered without keen eyes of the beta testers, so I do want to give a bit of a secret screenshot. For some accessibility, how about some sensitivity sliders and inverted X and Y axis controls? Don’t tell Buddy I’m showing you this.
The community discovered so many cool tech and skips while playing the beta. From shotgun-hopping to velocity storage to wall-kicking, there are tons of interactions they figured out in just over the weekend. They already have an Airframe Ultra Tech and Skips wiki set up to share the different tricks they have found! Maybe you can test these cool tricks in the newly released demo of Airframe Ultra on Steam?
Fan Art
The fan art! Oh boy the fan art that came from this was just amazing and so wonderful to see! I would love to highlight just a few of them but these for sure are not the only ones.
