Hey, everyone! All of us here at Akupara Games have been pretty busy with an assortment of projects. We had the pleasure and opportunity to work closely with Microsoft Azure PlayFab – a backend platform that allows users to take control of their LiveOps for their games. We are extremely proud to have helped Microsoft with PubSub for Unity Project.
Sea of Thieves built on Microsoft Azure PlayFab
As a means to advance Microsoft’s SDKs based on customer demand, the two teams worked on testing the compatibility of SDKs for Unreal and Unity engines on Windows, console, and mobile platforms. Additionally, new frameworks, plugins, and APIs were developed to improve the experience and capabilities of PlayFab’s users. Through their collaborative work together, PlayFab and Akupara Games are ultimately helping to foster a community that is able to communicate with one another across the globe, unbound by preferred platforms and language. Akupara Games continues to be working towards “an indie for indies” goal by working alongside large partners to develop and innovate new tools that can help raise indie games to their highest potential and be more competitive in the gaming landscape.
