Rain World is a survival platform where you follow a slugcat trying to get back to their family while they are avoiding the hazards that the ecosystem puts in their way. Being one tier above the bottom of the food chain, they must hunt for food, dodge predators, and find shelters that will be safe from the incoming “bullet rain.”

Rain World: Downpour adds so much new content to an almost 6 year old game that is beloved by the community. Downpour adds 5 new playable slugcats each with their own campaigns and abilities to traverse through the dangerous ecosystems. The environment has been significantly expanded with multiple new creatures and over 1,000 new rooms to explore.

Also coming to Downpour are new modes to change up the way you play Rain World. 

• Challenge mode: Test your slugcat skills with 70 different scenarios for you to complete
• Safari mode: Take the slugcat out of Rain World and enjoy watching the ecosystem or take control of one of the other creatures and survive until the rain falls
• Expedition mode: Change the way you play with the goal of your campaigns being to complete different milestones and give each of your runs unique buffs and debuffs.
• Jolly Co-op campaigns: Play with your friends in campaign mode with local co-op
