When did you first get started in games and how?

I was the kid who wasn’t really allowed to play games growing up, so everytime I went to a friends house and played Halo or Mario Kart or whatever it was like this amazing forbidden fruit. I feel like I started a career in games out of spite from that.

How did you first get started in the game industry?

My first couple gigs were very different from each other. I worked for a while on an empathy-training doctor game, then went into QA on a raunchy mobile title. And now here I am!

Where do you draw inspiration from?

Growing up in a big city, I always loved urban landscapes and how they juxtapose with nature in chaotic ways. I also take a lot of inspiration from all the crazy talented devs out there in the world doing their thing.

What is your favorite video game or series?

Pathologic 2

What is your proudest accomplishment with Akupara?

Well, I haven’t been here long but I guess making the cut alone is a big accomplishment! Forging a career in games is tough so I’m proud of myself for making it this far.
