Akupara Games partnered with Psyop and Bethesda to create a visual novel prequel to Ghostwire: Tokyo. The visual novel explores the story of the Ghostwire: Tokyo’s deuteragonist, his backstory, and how he got his name. This prelude visual novel also introduces key characters for the upcoming story.
Akupara not only used Psyop’s custom “Branching Storywriter” engine to make the game, the Akupara team improved its functionality by adding support for localization and controller inputs.
Akupara Games co-developed Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude for Steam, as well as PlayStation 4 & 5.
